The petitioner seeks bail in Abadpur P.S. Case No.03 of 2020, registered under Sections 461 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is not named in the FIR. During the course of investigation, the petitioner was arrested and he is said to have confessed his guilt. It is alleged that on the basis of confession of the petitioner, two printers were recovered from the house of co-accused, Rauf and Safik.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no mark on the stolen articles. The petitioner did not confess his guilt and he is in custody since 22.01.2020.
Taking into consideration the facts and nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the

No.34405 of 2020(2) dt.19-01-2021 2/2 petitioner has already remained in jail for about a year, petitioner, namely, Babul Ali @ Babul Mohammad is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Abadpur P.S.
