2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Piri Bazar P.S. Case No. 67 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 323, 504, 506 and 384 of the I.P.C., lodged on 11.08.2017. by the informant Sunil Mandal.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that a piece of land was transferred by the petitioner to the complainant but later it came to notice that he has already transferred it to one Chandramauli Singh, when the informant wanted return of his consideration amount, the abuse/assault. This led to the present case.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land belongs to him and was never transferred to the complainant and exaggerated case has been made.

5. Learned APP on the other hand opposes the prayer submitting that the F.I.R. is of the 2017, the petitioner got the knowledge and twice preferred anticipatory bail application before the learned Sessions Judge order which were rejected on 17.11.2025 and 28.02.2026/16.03.2026 and as such, it would be appropriate that he surrenders and seek bail.

6. Taking into account the submission of the parties specially the fact that he delayed coming to the Court, in that background, no relief can be extended to the petitioner.

7. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

8. However, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of four weeks, files bail application, the court concerned shall consider the matter and dispose it of preferably on the same day.
