2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

3. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 118 of 2022 dated 16.04.2022, lodged under Sections 20, 21(B), 22 & 23 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 23.12.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 43306 of 2022.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the other co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 03.01.2023 & 18.01.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32683 of 2022 & Cr. Misc. No. 36321 of 2022

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39533 of 2023(4) dt.15-09-2023 2/2 respectively. Counsel further submits that the charge has already been framed in this case. Counsel further submits that the petitioner shall always appear in the trial on each and every date.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that it has been directed to the Trial Court to conclude the trial preferably within one year from the date of framing of charge. Counsel submits that charge has been framed in this case on 26.07.2023 and as such, only two months has lapsed.

7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and, therefore, his bail petition is hereby rejected again.

8. With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
