2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of road robbery. It is alleged by the informant that on 11.08.2022 at about 3:30 AM, while he was going to Patna along with his driver, in the meantime, a white Bolero car intercepted them, snatched their cash and fled away. Name of petitioner surfaced in this case during investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused Ranjit Kumar. Petitioner has got two criminal antecedents out of which one is of similar nature.
