Though, it has been contended on behalf of petitioner that it happens to be a love affair whereunder victim Manju Kumari, herself eloped with the petitioner is found totally contradicted by her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. whereunder she had, apart from others, specifically alleged to have been raped by the petitioner along with Chandan. Taking into account the status of the victim coupled with the allegation, prayer of petitioner for bail is rejected. The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial taking into account the period of custody.
