This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with G.R. No.2283 of 2022 arising out of Basopatti P.S. Case No. 239 of 2022 registered under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 324 litres of Nepali liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2022.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33768 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani, in connection with G.R. No.2283 of 2022 arising out of Basopatti P.S. Case No. 239 of 2022.
