Originally, the informant filed a complaint case on 13.6.2012, which was converted into a police case. The informant claims that her husband was taken away by the petitioner and one accused on 3.3.2012 and she was ravished by the petitioner and co-accused on 10.6.2012 and thereafter she lodged the present case. The complaint petition reflects that there was political rivalry between the informant and the petitioner. Moreover, at paragraphs 35, 36 and 37 of the case diary, the witnesses stated that the deceased was a drunkard and died due to over drinking.
