The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Aurangabad (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 64 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17.02.2023 and he is quite innocent and he has been falsely been implication in this case with false allegation.

It is alleged that there is recovery of 86.4 liter of country made liquor and 86.4 liter of foreign liquor (total 172.8 liters) from the vehicle in question.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38782 of 2023(2) dt.05-07-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court of Special Judge, Excise-I, Aurangabad/concerned Court below in connection with Aurangabad (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 64/2023.
