2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"quashing the entire acquisition proceeding relating to the lands of the petitioners arising out of Gazatted notification dated 29.10.2014 published in the news paper under

Patna High Court CWJC No.16607 of 2017(4) dt.14-07-2025 2/2 section 20-A(4) of the Railway Act, 1989 on the ground that the objection filed under section 20(D)

(1) of the Act has not been considered and thus there is violation of mandatory requirement as enshrined under section 20(D)(2) of the Act and apart from that therein violation of section 20(F)

(4) as well as 20(G) of the Act."

3. The counter-affidavit of the State shows that Yadunandan Singh was blessed with two sons namely, Chandradeep Singh and Suryadeep Singh. Heirs of Chandradeep Singh is before this Court. Suryadeep Singh/heirs is/are neither the petitioner(s) nor the respondent(s).

4. In that background, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they shall be approaching the concerned respondent/authority in next four weeks so that the matter is taken to its logical conclusion.
