The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hasanpur P.S. Case No. 55 of 2020, dated 08.03.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears from the prosecution report that 48.400 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner above-named, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. District Judge-IICum-Special Judge, Excise, Samastipur in connection with Hasanpur P.S. Case No. 55 of 2020.
