Mr. Mrityunjaya Kumar Gautam, learned APP for the State is present.

Considering that this matter relates to payment of maintenance to a neglected wife and the revision application has remained pending for six years and at this stage, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the revision application on its own merit.

Perusal of the impugned judgment dated 30.08.2016 would show that the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Betiah, West Champaran has awarded a meagre sum of Rs.1,000/- per month to the applicant-wife.

No.1212 of 2016(4) dt.15-11-2022 2/2 The impugned judgment also shows that the husbandopposite party had not adduced any witness in support of his claim that there is no relationship as husband-wife between the applicant-wife and the opposite party-husband. Considering that the amount of maintenance awarded is in the lowest side, this Court finds no reason to interfere with the same.

This application is dismissed.
