2. Heard the parties.
3. The petitioner superannuated from the post of Reader on 31.05.2009 from Raja Singh College, Siwan under J. P. University, Chapra.
4. Being aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in not according the Group Insurance amount with 12.5% compound interest, the petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court by filing the present writ petition.
5. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the J.P. University, duly sworn by the Registrar. Categorical averments have been made that all the retiral benefits, including
Patna High Court CWJC No.7797 of 2024(3) dt.21-10-2024 2/2 Group Insurance amount to the tune of Rs.63,349/- (including 12.5% compound interest) have been paid to the petitioner.
6. In view of the categorical averments made in the counter affidavit, this Court finds that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.
7. Suffice it to observe, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the calculation, he may approach before the Registrar of the University.
8. The writ petition stands disposed of.
