The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Chautham P. S. Case No. 179 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Considering recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor on the basis of statement made by the arrested accused Avinash Kumar, who disclosed that the seized liquor were stored by the petitioners and others as also the provisions prescribed under sub-section (2) of Section 76 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
