In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No.199 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 366(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of POCSO Act. Allegation against the petitioner is to have kidnapped the minor girl of the informant and she was put to sexual assault by the petitioner. The statement made by the victim under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has also supported the story mentioned in the First Information Report.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.226 of 2019(4) dt.30-01-2019 2/2 not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
