2. The present petition has been preferred for :- "(1) For issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the letter No.1171 dated 06.09.2017 issued by the Director, Fisheries, Bihar, Patna whereby and whereunder direction has been given to all concerned not to change the earlier
Patna High Court CWJC No.17896 of 2017(5) dt.17-06-2025 2/3 'Bandobasti' and to continue with the same even after election of new Managing Committee and to collect the balance amount.
(ii) For directing authorities to the concerned produce the 'bandobasti' done earlier before this Hon'ble Court and after production of the same to quash the same.
(iii) For directing the concerned authorities not to realize the amount from the newly elected committee till 'Bandobasti' is done in their favour. (iv) For quashing the letter No.723 dated 30.10.2017 issued by the District Chief Fisheries Executive Officer-cum-Officer, Muzaffarpur by which the petitioner have been directed to pay arrear of Rs.12285/- and Rs.184160/- for the year 2017-18.
(v) To restrain the respondents from realizing the amounts and taking coercive action till the disposal of the writ application.
(vi) For any other relief/reliefs which the petitioners may to be entitled in the facts of the case."
3. At the outset, the State counsel submits that the matter relates to settlement under the Motipur Block Fisheries Cooperative Committee Limited and the tenure was for the 2012-19 period. In that background, the matter has become infructuous and that is the reason the learned counsel for the
Patna High Court CWJC No.17896 of 2017(5) dt.17-06-2025 3/3 petitioners have chosen not to present himself in the Court.
4. Be that as it may, since there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioners, it is dismissed for non-prosecution. (Rajiv Roy, J) Saurav/- U
