In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Udakishunganj P.S. Case No. 181 of 2020 registered for offence punishable under section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It has been alleged that 17 litres of liquor has been recovered from the door of the petitioner.

Looking to the quantity of liquor, let the petitioner above named, in event of arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31607 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2021 2/2 Judge-II, Madhepura in connection with Udakishunganj P.S. Case No. 181 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under section 438 (2) Cr.PC and further condition is that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his close relative. The petitioner will not induce any witness or tamper with the evidence. The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court. If the petitioner is found involved in future in the similar type of offence, the prosecution will have liberty to file an application before the court below for cancellation of his bail and the court below will take decision in accordance with law.
