Counsel for the Union of India takes a preliminary objection regarding maintainability of the instant proceedings before this court having regard to the order of punishment being issued by the authorities in Hyderabad.

Specific query was made by this court as to how this court would have Territorial jurisdiction to consider the case. Counsel for the petitioner only submits that the petitioner has pleaded in para 3 of the petition that petitioner is citizen of India having territorial jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court. No case is made out.

Prima facie, writ petition is not maintainable for want of territorial jurisdiction and the same is dismissed.

Patna High Court CWJC No.406 of 2019(2) dt.18-07-2019 2/2 However, petitioner would be at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.
