KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 01-12-2020 Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s): "For directing the respondents to provide basic infrastructure and other necessary requirement to all India Institute of Medical Science, Patna which was established in the year 2012."

From the affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents, it is apparent that the infrastructure with regard to setting up of modular operation theater; installation of Surgical Medical, Oncology Medical, Gastroenterology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Urology, Neurology and Cardiology Department already stands established. Not only that emergency services are also available.

Patna High Court CWJC No.20458 of 2016 dt.01-12-2020 2/2 The instant petition was filed in the year 2016 since when on account of continuous monitoring by this Court as also the issues highlighted by the present petitioner, the Institution, in question, i.e. All India Institute of Medical Science, Patna is now fully functional and operational. In fact, during the time of the current pandemic Covid-19, complete infrastructure stands established.

As such, we disposed of the present petition for the same have outlived its purpose, reserving liberty to the petitioner to highlight the surviving grievances, if any, with the authority as also approach this Court for surviving grievances, if any, if so required and desired.

The petition stands disposed of.
