The petitioner seeks bail in Sangrampur P.S. Case No.29 of 2020, registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 30(a), 35 and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

12 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the Bhatthi of Sobhan Mukhiya and 1000 litres liquid for preparation of liquor was destroyed. From possession of the petitioner Raju Mukhiya, 12 litres liquor was recovered and 1000 litres liquid meant for preparation of liquor was destroyed. The petitioner is in jail since 25.02.2020. The petitioner has remained in jail for about a year.

Considering the facts and nature of allegation made

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34387 of 2020(2) dt.18-01-2021 2/2 against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is in jail for about a year, petitioner, namely, Raju Mukhiya is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge-IX-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Sangrampur P.S.
