JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH) 30-08-2025 We find from the records that a letter dated 01.08.2025 has been sent by the Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chapra to this Court, wherein he has annexed a report dated 31.07.2025 of the Inspector of Police-cum-Officer In-Charge, Marhaura Police Station, Saran. In the said report dated 31.07.2025, it has been mentioned that the sole appellant of the present appeal, namely Jawahir Prasad Yadav @ Jawahir Prasad, has been killed and in connection thereof, one Marhaura P.S. Case No. 82/22 dated 20.02.2022, under Section 302/120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, has been registered.

2. We do not find any reason to doubt the aforesaid factum of death of the sole appellant, hence the aforesaid

Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.467 of 2001(5) dt.30-08-2025 2/2 appeal, bearing Criminal Appeal (DB) No.467 of 2001, stands abated.
