2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 103, 3 (5) of the BNS.

3. The case of the prosecution is that some scuffle was going on between the parties. It is further alleged that Vinay Mahato pushed the father of the informant on road due to which he received head injury on back portion. It is further alleged that Gauri Mahto and the petitioner herein brought 'lathi' and assaulted the father of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is 60 years lady and the nature of allegation against

5. From perusal of the FIR itself it transpires that Gauri Mahto and this petitioner brought 'lathi' and started assaulting the father of the informant.

6. Learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this court that there is special provision under Section 437(2) of the Cr.P.C for granting bail to the lady. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 01.02.2025 having no criminal antecedent.

7. Learned counsel for the Informant vehemently opposes the prayer of regular bail.

8. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 830 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra.
