2. Learned counsel for the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board (hereinafter referred to as the 'Board') has assisted the Court.

3. Learned counsel for the Board submitted that it was to take a decision with regard to the grievance of the petitioners. It was submitted that the grievance related to recognition of schools by the Board. It was further submitted that the Board was nonfunctional for a few years but the decision has been taken yesterday with regard to seven out of nine schools in question and with regard to the remaining two, report has not yet been received from the district authorities, and once the same is done, a decision shall also be taken with regard to those two schools.

4. It transpires that though the State of Bihar has been made a party but copy has not been served on learned counsel for the State and, thus, nobody is appearing today on its behalf.

5. However, in view of the fact that the authorities have now taken a decision with regard to seven schools and with regard to the remaining two schools also the stand is that the report from the concerned District Magistrates is awaited as also the fact that nobody has appeared to press the application and copy of the same has not been served on learned counsel for the State, the Court

Patna High Court MJC No.2262 of 2017 dt.30-07-2019 3/3 finds that the order of the Court dated 01.04.2016 passed in CWJC No. 524 of 2016 has been substantially complied with.

The Court would note here that the order of the Court dated 01.04.2016 stipulated that the Board shall take a decision within a reasonable time frame and the reason given before the Court by learned counsel for the Board today being that for almost two years the Board was non-functional, the Court finds no deliberate or wilful disobedience of the order dated 01.04.2016.

7. In the aforesaid background, the application stands disposed off with the observation that the decision with regard to the remaining two schools shall also be taken without any undue delay.
