The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 379 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, tractor of informant was found missing from his Garage.

It is submitted that petitioner has been made accused in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused persons who were apprehended by the police. No incriminating article was recovered from possession of this petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of
