====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJ KUMAR ORAL ORDER 15-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

2. The petitioner is languishing in jail custody since 11.05.2022 for the offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code in connection with Nokha P.S. Case No. 160 of 2022.

3. As per the allegation in FIR, petitioner has allegedly strangulated his mother and she succumbed to injuries.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he has remained in custody for more than four years and trial is still not concluded. By the order of this Court, a report has been called for regarding the stage of trial and it manifest that, out of six witnesses four prosecution

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32634 of 2026(3) dt.15-07-2026 2/2 witnesses have been examined and only two are left to be examined and further it has been mentioned that the trial is likely to be concluded within three months.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State also have not disputed the position.

6. In the background of these facts, this Court deems fit and proper to direct the Trial Court to conclude the Trial within a period of two months from today, failing which liberty will be given to the petitioner to renew the prayer for bail.

7. Application stands disposed of.
