The petitioner being the mother of the husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 07.07.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after three years of the marriage for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand. The post-mortem report suggests the death by hanging.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was separate from the husband of the victim and the accusation is not specific against the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4659 of 2015 (02) dt.05-02-2015 2/2 Considering the fact that the petitioner is an aged lady, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 455 of 2014.
