2. In the present writ application the petitioner is seeking the following reliefs:
(i) To issue an appropriate order/orders, direction/directions including a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order as contained in memo No.1977 dated 29.06.2022 passed by the Superintendent of Police, East Champaran, Motihari, whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been dismissed from service, with effect from 29.06.2022 the period spent during suspension shall be adjusted in half earned

(ii) To direct the Director General of Police/Deputy Inspector General of Police, West Champaran Range, Bettiah to expedite the hearing of Appeal/Memorial Appeal of the petitioner passed by the Disciplinary Authority in Motihari District Departmental Inquiry No.73/2021.
(iii) To direct the respondent No.4 to reinstate the petitioner hence forthwith with all consequential benefits.
(iv) To any other relief/reliefs to which the petitioner may be found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.

In paragraph-12 of the writ application the petitioner has stated that as against the order of dismissal contained in Memo No.1977 dated 29.06.2022 passed by the Superintendent of Police, East Champaran, Motihari, the petitioner has preferred an appeal under Rule-851(Kh) Bihar Police Manual before the prescribed Appellate Authority (D.I.G., West Champaran Range, Bettiah) and the said appeal is currently pending.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner further contends that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction could be given for concluding the pending appeal within a fixed time frame.

5. The learned counsel for the State has no objection to this prayer being made by the petitioner.
6. In light of the above, this writ application is disposed of with the direction to conclude the pending appeal filed by the petitioner before the Appellate Authority (D.I.G., West Champaran Range, Bettiah), within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order.
