The petitioner is concerned with the selection process conducted for the post of "Fieldman" against the vacancy of Advertisement No. 01 of 2011 dated 27.07.2011. The petitioner, in the year 2017, filed this writ petition claiming that some persons who were selected, were terminated, since their testimonials were found to be fake. The petitioner claimed

Before the Hon'ble Single Judge, the University submitted that the selections were long over and that the University had also changed into a Central Agricultural University. A fresh selection was conducted in which the petitioner had also applied with relaxation of age. The Hon'ble Single Judge accepted the contention and also directed that weightage of 10 years casual service may be afforded to the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed the instant appeal against the order, which declined appointment to the vacancies which arose on termination of persons who were selected in the process of 2011, in which he had participated and failed. 4.

Even before us, the learned senior counsel appearing for the respondent-University submitted that the University was earlier called Rajendra Agricultural University, which was renamed as Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University and the status also changed into a Central Agricultural University from the year 2016. The writ petition itself was filed after that.

In such circumstances, we do not see any reason to entertain the appeal.
