2. This writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-

1) For issuance of a writ in the name of mandamus directing the Respondent No.2 to of dated dispose the representation 25.03.2023 (Annexure-P-5) filed by the petitioner for transfer of license on the basis of "Sale" in terms of the Wood-Based Industries (Establishment & Regulation) Guidelines, 2016 framed by the Government of India and the Bihar Wood-Based

Patna High Court CWJC No.8731 of 2025(3) dt.01-11-2025 2/2 Industries (Establishment & Regulation) Bill, 2020;

(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities not to interfere with operation of saw mill till such time the matter is finally decided by the State Level Committee for Wood-Based Industries, Bihar, Patna in the facts and circumstances of the case.

In view of the relief sought by the petitioner, the Chairman-State Level Committee for Wood-Based Industries (Respondent No. 2) is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2023 which is annexed as Annexure-5 to the writ petition, in accordance with the law by a speaking order within four weeks from the date of receipt/communication of a copy of this order after hearing the petitioner.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
