"This writ application is being filed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for direction to the Respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment as his father died on 05.12.2017 at GREF Camp, Udyapur 94 RCC Lahul and S.P.ITI, Himachal Pradesh as GS-184395 K 'Margdarsak' and further issue direction to the respondents issue appointment letter on the post of Panier on the basis of the compassionate appointment, for which petitioner filed application on 20.02.2018 before the respondents and further give other legal consequential benefit attached to the post." During pendency of the present petition, petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground as is evident from the document dated 20th October, 2021 which was marked to Senior Panel Counsel, Patna High Court, Sri. Awadhesh Kumar Pandey.

Patna High Court CWJC No.24591 of 2018 dt.16-11-2021 2/2 Therefore concerned official is directed to accept duty report of the petitioner forthwith.

In the light of the aforesaid development, the present petition do not survive for consideration.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed of.
