2. The present application has been filed for quashing of proceeding of Chandramandi P.S. Case No. 69/2013 registered U/s 494, 498 (A), 34 of the IPC and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act pending in the court learned SDJM, Jamui.

3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the last witness was examined in the year 2016 and thereafter, no witness has deposed in the trial.

4. The learned S.D.J.M., Jamui is directed to conclude the trial within six months from the date of communication of a copy of this order. He is also directed to close the evidence of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40131 of 2024(2) dt.10-09-2024 2/2 the prosecution if the prosecution is not leading any evidence.
