This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Bhargama P.S. Case No. 08 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 224, 226, 353, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 25 (1-B)a/28 of the Arms Act.
It is alleged that the petitioner was arrested by the police but he was snatched away by the local people. In the opinion of this Court, once the petitioner has taken into custody by the police, this anticipatory bail application is not maintainable.
