JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-07-2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2.The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought, inter alia, the following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "I. For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to revise and calculate the pension of the petitioner as per the ACP/MACP granted to the petitioner on the direction of this Hon'ble Court and make payment the arrears alongwith the statutory interest without further delay.

II. For further commanding the respondents to revise and calculate the pension of the petitioner as per the 7th Pay Revision as contained in Memo No.22/2017-755 dated 20.10.2017 alongwith the statutory interest. Ill. For grant any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is legally entitled in the facts and

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that though the respondents have admitted in Memo No. 237 dated 23.11.2024 (Annexure p/3) that total amount as payable till 31.07.2015 has been paid to the petitioner but pension has not been revised and seeks to file a detailed representation to claim the same before the respondent no.4, the Executive Engineer, Ayojan and Monitoring Division, Saharsa, Water Resources Department, Saharsa

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the Executive Engineer is directed to dispose of the representation and make payment to the petitioner in accordance with law well within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. In case of failure, the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate action.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
