The petitioner is languishing in custody since 17.01.2015 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 387 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of demanding Rs. Twenty Lakhs as extortion through mobile.

A statement has been made in para 8 of the petition that the mobile from which alleged demand was made was not registered in the name of the petitioner. Considering the fact that the investigation has already concluded, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14554 of 2015 (02) dt.28-04-2015 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 300 of 2014.

Since the petitioner is accused in two other cases, the learned court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner, if he substantially gets involved in some serious nature of the offence or defaults for two consecutive occasions.
