JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 31-07-2015 The petitioner seeks issuance of direction to the respondents to implement the decision vide Memo No. 2300 dated 02.04.1998, whereby the State of Bihar decided to increase the Pay Scales of the Doctors in Indigenous Medicine (Vaidya, Hakim) from Rs. 20003800 to 2200-4000, with respect to the Doctors in indigenous medicine working under Aurangabad Zila Parishad.

2. The petitioner has brought on record an

Patna High Court CWJC No.4981 of 2001 dt.31-07-2015 2/2 order issued by the Deputy Development Commissionercum-Chief Executive Officer, District Board, Patna, whereby the said scale of Rs. 2200-4000 has been sanctioned for Vaidyas and Hakims working under Zila Parishad, Patna.

3. It is the stand of the petitioner that Zila Parishad of other districts of Bihar have extended such benefit to the Doctors in indigenous medicine. Nothing has, however, been brought on record in support of plea that the Zila Parishad, Aurangabad is/was bound by the decision by the State Government, enhancing Pay Scale of Vaidyas and Hakims from Rs. 2000-3800 to Rs. 22004000 nor any provision has been brought to my notice, on the basis of which, it can be said that the District Board is required to sanction same Pay Scale to its employees, as is admissible to the employees, holding equivalent post under the State Government.

4. I find no merit in this application.
