JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 04-03-2021 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ashok Kumar, the learned A.P.P. for the State. The present petition has been filed for modifying the order dated 20.01.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 80185 of 2019 to the extent that the time granted to the petitioner for depositing a sum of Rs. 3 lacs before the Nazarat of the Civil Court at Hilsa, Nalanda, be extended by a further period of 08 weeks. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of COVID-19 Pandemic, the petitioner could not deposit the aforesaid sum of Rs. 3 lacs, hence some time be granted for the purposes of depositing the aforesaid amount and surrendering before the learned court below for being admitted to the privilege of anticipatory bail.

No.9958 of 2021(2) dt.04-03-2021 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner for depositing a sum of Rs. 3 lacs before the Nazarat of the Civil Court at Hilsa, Nalanda as also for surrendering before the learned court below in order to be admitted to the privilege of anticipatory bail, by a further period of 08 weeks from today.

Accordingly, the order dated 20.01.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 80185 of 2019 is modified to the aforesaid extent. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) rinkee/- U T
