Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case No. 559 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely to get him terminated from his present work. He has not committed any crime. No customer has lodged any written complaint against this petitioner.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is named

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77146 of 2018(18) dt.16-11-2021 2/2 accused in the first information report and there are allegations against him of being involved in illegal collection of money. Further, during investigation witnesses have supported the prosecution case. Petitioner, therefore, does not deserve to be granted the privilege of bail. Considering the nature of allegations levelled, the materials available on record and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The same is, therefore, rejected.
