The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 333/2009 for the offences punishable under sections 498(A), 323, 325, 406 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case, in brief, is that the informant Aftana Khatoon was ousted from her matrimonial home after torturing her mentally and physically, and there is an allegation of demand of dowry.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife if she is agreeable to the

It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to deposit an amount of Rs.1500/-(fifteen hundred) per month in the court below, which may be released in favour of the informant. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R., and he is the husband of the informant. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner Md. Aslam be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 333/2009.

It is directed that the petitioner shall deposit the amount of Rs.1,500/-(fifteen hundred) in the court below per month, which shall be released in favour of the informant. BK.Roy/- (Sudhir Singh, J) U T
