ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 07-10-2025 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that though the authorities have paid the admitted dues to the petitioner, the interest of the same has not been paid. Learned counsel submits that the vehicle of the petitioner was requisitioned in the year 2020 and the amounts have been paid only in the year 2025 without calculating the interest of the same.

2. Having regard to the same, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a suitable representation to the Respondent No. 3, i.e., the District

Patna High Court CWJC No.7945 of 2025(4) dt.07-10-2025 2/2 Magistrate, Jamui ventilating his grievance within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being given, the same shall be considered and necessary orders passed in accordance with law. In case the authority comes to the conclusion that the interest needs to be paid for the delayed bill amounts, the authority shall endeavor to pay the same. In case the authority comes to the conclusion that the claim made by the petitioner is liable to be rejected, he shall pass a reasoned orders giving the reasons for rejecting his claim. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of the representation by the petitioner.

3. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
