The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Saharsa (Sadar) P.S. Case No. 61 of 2014 registered under Sections 420 and 384 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Section 3(i)(x) of S.C./S.T. Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he was Head Clerk of the department and he demanded commission from the informant, Vikash Mitra and on threat he received the commission from time to time.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation levelled against the petitioner at the time of verge of his retirement and also he has already been retired from his service and remanded in jail custody since 30.07.2014.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief
