Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner is in jail custody with effect from 15.01.2014, his trial has already begun. The allegation set out against him and others being omnibus in nature, I am not inclined to release him on bail. His prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected. The trial court (Addl. Sessions Judge, IV, Begusarai) is, however, directed to expedite the trial (S.Tr. No. 348 of 2014, arising out of Nayagaon (Samho) P.S. Case No. 61 of 2003 and conclude the same as early as possible preferably within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in the court below.
