The petitioner seeks bail in Kanti P.S. Case No. 264 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. 1270.800 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from two vehicles. Petitioner is alleged to have fled away from the place of recovery.

It is submitted that no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the vehicles in question. Petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2021. Investigation is complete. Considering the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42491 of 2021(2) dt.28-10-2021 2/2 bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 264 of 2020.
