The petitioner seeks bail in Tekari P.S. Case No. 217 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)A, 26 of the Arms Act. The petitioner was apprehended on chase and from his possession one loaded country made pistol with live cartridges were recovered. One motorcycle was also recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the petitioner did not produce any paper with regard to ownership of the vehicle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 03.08.2014 and after being arrested in the present case the petitioner has been made accused in other criminal cases.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6802 of 2015 (3) dt.25-03-2015 2/2 It appears that as many as six cases are registered under Sections 395 and 392 of the Indian Penal Code against the petitioner, hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining nine months in jail.
