The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Kudra P. S. Case No. 137 of 2020, dated 03.05.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 21(a) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32371 of 2020(2) dt.08-02-2021 2/3 5.07 grams of heroin and Rs. 3600/- in currency is said to have been recovered from the possession of one Satyam Kumar Singh @ Guddu. The prosecution of the petitioner in the instant case is on the basis of confession of aforesaid Satyam Kumar Singh @ Guddu.

Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he does not have any criminal antecedents.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Kaimur at Bhabhua, in connection with Kudra P. S. Case No. 137 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under

The application stands allowed.
