JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-02-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. This is an application seeking regular on behalf of the petitioner in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner is the husband of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is in custody since 2.8.2014 and matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and his wife is the reason behind the institution of the criminal case.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer.
