The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Nardiganj P.S. Case No. 122 of 2020 dated 29.05.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 354(b), 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant and others are said to have been assaulted by the accused persons. So far as the petitioner is concerned, he is said to have snatched away gold ornaments from the possession of the wife of the informant and also assaulted her by means of fists and slaps.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33625 of 2020(2) dt.15-03-2021 2/2 submitted that the present case has only been filed in retaliation to the earlier case lodged by the brother of the petitioner against the informant of the present case. The accusation of trying to disrobe any female or of assaulting anyone of the victims, causing grievous injury is not on the petitioner. One Moti Yadav, a coaccused has been granted anticipatory bail by a Bench of this Court.

Considering the aforestated facts and taking into account that the petitioner does not have criminal antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Nawad in connection with Nardiganj P.S. Case No. 122 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
