The petitioners seek bail in connection with Sahodara P.S. Case No. 85 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that from the possession of the petitioners certain quantity of illicit liquor is alleged to have been recovered. Considering the nature of the offence, the petitioners, who are in custody since 29.01.2019 and are said to be of clean antecedents, are directed to be released on bail on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33021 of 2019(2) dt.20-05-2019 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Sahodara P.S. Case No.85 of 2018 subject to the following conditions:- (a) that the petitioners shall attend court in accordance with the conditions of the bond executed;

(b) that the petitioners shall not commit an offence similar to the offence of the present case; and (c) that the petitioners shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer or tamper with the evidence.
