The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The daughter of the informant died in her matrimonial house after seven years of marriage, leaving behind three children, including a daughter aged about eight years. The allegation is of demand of dowry and torture for the same and commission of dowry death for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. The petitioners are brother-in-law of the victim. The allegation is general and omnibus. Presumption of dowry death is not there against the petitioners. Hence, let the

No.79506 of 2018(2) dt.23-01-2019 2/2 petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of thi9rty days from the date of receipt of the order be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Nadi Police Station Case No. 44 of 2018, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal procedure as well as condition that the petitioners shall fully co-operate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
