1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s)- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, direction/directions, order/orders to command the respondents No.2 to 4 to remove the encroachment made over the State of Bihar Land which has been encroached by some unknown persons, with regard to which applications were submitted before the respondent No.2 to 4 but no action has been taken for removal of encroachment from the land

Patna High Court CWJC No.8366 of 2024(2) dt.18-07-2024 2/2 in question and the petitioners are bonafide land owner and due to encroachment of the land, the Road of the petitioners shall be blocked."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Circle Officer, Araria, District-Araria, for redressal of their aforesaid grievance. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the Circle Officer, Araria, District-Araria, by filing appropriate petition under the provisions of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, forthwith.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
