Petitioner seeks bail in Daudnagar P.S. Case No.210 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner is the driver of the pick-up van and on interception and search, 1981.8 litres of country made liquor was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 25.07.2020.

Taking into consideration the fact that about 2000 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the vehicle, which was being driven by the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
