In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Samastipur Town P.S. Case No. 46 of 2012 registered for offences under sections 376/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made against Rajeev Ranjan to have committed rape on the victim and took photographs and thereafter, he started demanding extortion money. The petitioner as per the FIR does not have a direct involvement, as allegation has been made of preparing blue film from that incident. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Samastipur Town P.S. Case No. 46 of 2012.
